Freezing Temps. {Friday Linkups}

This week has been beyond freezing - I am more than ready for spring and all that goes along with it!

1. Valentines Day Eats, Treats & Crafts
I can't believe Valentine's Day is next week!!!  If you missed my post yesterday on Valentine's Day dat night, click: here.  If you missed my Valentine's Day posts from  last year…

2. Mom's Birthday
A new restaurant, Tecca, opened up next-door to our house.  Derek and I checked out the bar there a couple of weeks ago but none of us had ever been for dinner so Mom picked it for her birthday meal!  We had a fantastic time, all the food and wine was delicious (I had Pinot Grigio, of course as well as calamari and lasagna. (We will most definitely be returning!) After dinner we did cake and presents at our house since we live so close.  It was a great night celebrating our queen!

3. New Gym Routine
With our new little lady I can't exactly pop in the gym on the way home from work and I probably would get unmotivated coming home and then having to go back out SO.. *when in rome* since I'm up at 6am now everyday, why not use that extra time to work out?! I used to work out in the morning anyway and I actually like it - it wakes you up for the day and it's out of the way.  I'm liking my new routine.  Also GMA and other morning talk shows keep me entertained on the treadmill.  Going very well so far.

4. Stella's First Week
Stella is adjusting so well! By Monday night she went right into her crate without crying, by Wednesday she didn't make a peep until 4:45am (Derek sleep through his overnight potty break alarm), and by Thursday, she slept in until 6:15am!  Stella tries to eat her tail and she enjoys watching sports and reality TV - seriously, she stares at the TV.  She is obsessed with having her belly rubbed and is such a cuddler - she'll crawl into one of our laps and chance she gets, even if it's play time, she just brings the toy into our lap!  Stella was also introduced on the blog this week.

5. Bachelor Comments:
Whitney, Carly, Becca -- please let one win and one be bachelorette, please.
Also, if someone could tell me who Samantha is and if she's ever had a speaking line and I just didn't notice, please go ahead.

Not much else to say on that but in other entertainment news…

 The Saved by the Bell Reunion on Jimmy Fallon was amazing!

Baby Emma from friends is TEN years old! What???? I've also really gotten into Friends reruns on TBS right when I get home from work this week even though I have every one on DVD it's just fun to watch when it's on

6. Sweet Surprises
I love surprises! My husband came home with flowers one night and one of our besties sent a card to welcome Stella!  It's the little things that can make a day.
