Weekend Scenes

 This weekend was far more low key than the previous one which was welcomed - Friday night, we had family over for pizza night, decorating gingerbread houses and driving through a local live nativity...

Tatum also came home from Santa Camp with a Christmas card he made especially for Teddy and was proud to show it off...

Saturday evening was another favorite - Santa comes around on the firetruck... 

Yesterday the boys had a Gingerbread Wonderland event then a very quiet rest of the day...

December Things

Our annual Santa pictures were taken very early in the season, luckily now Teddy has warmed up to Santa and gets excited to see him...

I had a great time joining Tatum for Gingerbread House making at his school and then the following week the three of us went to see him in his Christmas show.

Last day of school before Christmas break was a pajama day!

Bernard has been a hit every morning with the boys eagerly running down to see where he is.  He even inspired the party favor for Tatum's class - red and green play doh with a Christmas cookie cutter!

We took the train up to New York City for a day trip with friends to see the Rockettes, the tree, Bryant Park and have lunch.

Christmas Party, Santa Brunch & Other Weekend Scenes

The first weekend of December sure was a busy one but very fun.  Tatum had his Christmas party at school and last day before a long break.

We spent Saturday getting ready for our annual Christmas party - the kids do their pollyanna, we serve a bunch of pasta dishes and this year it was Grinch themed with a viewing of the Grinch and a visit from the man himself.

Sunday morning we were back up and out early for Brunch with Santa at the country club with friends and family - a great breakfast, crafts and pictures with Santa.

We had a little break then a neighborhood Christmas party with the best Santa ever - cookie decorating, reading stories, crafts and more!

We were home early and ready to crash after a very fun but very busy weekend...

Start of December

 The first weekend of December is always a fun one and this was no different!  We had a quiet Friday night and our Saturday plans got rained out so it was quiet relaxing to enjoy quiet time and Christmas movies and start some neighborhood fun!

We finally got around to getting our real tree which is always one of our favorite family days, and included Teddy finally enjoying seeing Santa...

We finished out the weekend with a Polar Express party and the lighting of our local town tree complete with a visit from Santa on the firetruck.
