Fun at the Lake

We've had a few good weekends at the lake so far this summer and a few to go!  Tatum is into every single thing there and Teddy is starting to get the hang of it, accepting his life jacket and likes keeping up...

We had a great time again this past weekend but it was super hot!  Time for this heat wave to end and have a few more enjoyable summer days coming up hopefully...

This & That

In addition to plenty of time at the pool, we've been doing a lot of outside playing this summer.  Tatum took his training wheels off himself without asking and then a couple days later was riding his bike great!

He also had a week of summer camp - which was fun but enough for him!  It will definitely take all of us a bit of adjusting to waking up early come the school year.

These boys love doing all things together and also keeping their dog close by too...

We had a great time at the Phillies game last week - it was hot, they lost but all four of us had a really fun evening.

Beverly Hills: Part Three

Our last full day we had a new treat for the boys - the indoor play center we used to go to closed down because of Covid but I found a new one and they both absolutely loved it!  We grabbed some Mexican for lunch outside so they could run around after.

We went down to the pool for our final pool day - our dinner reservation was late so we were able to stay out late into the afternoon.

We got the boys room service early before we headed out for our last date night at Craig's and they had fun playing with the babysitter before bedtime. 

We didn't have to leave for the airport until just before noon on our final day so we had breakfast, played and packed up.  It was a smooth flight home and we were all ready for bed the second we got home!

Beverly Hills: Part Two

Tuesday we went over to Rodeo Drive for some shopping and lunch - Tatum cruised along in his scooter and Teddy tolerated it.  We hurried back for pool time but it was shut down for cleaning which at first was a bummer but then we grabbed a drink and snack at the cafe and went back to play on the patio so we made the most of it and had fun!

We asked our babysitter if she could come earlier, which then we could go to bed earlier and it all worked out!  We grabbed drinks and went to the Sunset Tower Hotel for dinner but we quickly decided we'd rather go to an old favorite, Mastro's, and we had a delicious dinner complete with butter cake so I'm glad we switched!

Wednesday we were off to a new to us area - Marina Del Rey - for a boat cruise.  We'd used the company down in Newport the summer before and thought it would be something fun to do.

After lunch at our favorite deli, it was another nice pool day.  Derek took Teddy back to nap after a bit and Tatum and I had a nice pool date until late in the day.

It's always easy when we stay at the hotel to eat so we did just that tonight!  We ate on the patio and then got dessert to go to enjoy in the room so the boys could run around and play before bed.
