Disney World: Epcot & Magic Kingdom

Monday night we went back to the lounge for drinks and appetizers then walked over to the Transportation Center to take the monorail to Epcot.  Tatum was exhausted and took a long nap in the double stroller while we strolled through the countries.  We had reservations for the character dinner at Garden Grill and got there just before the rain!

Tuesday morning we were up early and back over to Magic Kingdom.  We got there right as the park was opening and went right to Buzz Lightyear's ride first at Tatum's request.  Today we did an earlier genie plus with it's a small world and that allowed us to pick up a bunch more of the easy ones like Teacups, Speedway, Barnstormer.  We hit the stores, watched the parades again and met Mickey.

Like the day before it was getting hot and crowded so we left the park about lunch time to spend the rest of the day at the pool.

Disney World: Chef Mickey's & Magic Kingdom

Back in early March Derek was on a golf trip near Orlando so the boys and I flew down to meet him for a quick trip to Disney World.  The three of us had great travels and we had a good amount of time to settle in before heading out for the night.

That night was something we were looking forward to as it was a favorite last time - Chef Mickeys!  We had drinks and appetizers in the lounge then hopped on the monorail to get to the Contemporary early to play in the arcade before dinner.

Monday morning was our first of three park days - we were up early and got to the Magic Kingdom a few minutes before it opened.  We went right to Winnie the Pooh then made our way around Fantasyland to anything that had a 15 minute or less wait - Dumbo, the Barnstormer, Under the Sea and then we went over to Main Street for the 50th Anniversary parade which was so cute.

Next up was our genie plus to Peter Pan but Teddy was asleep so Tatum and Derek did the ride while Teddy and I walked through the shops.  Things were getting crowded so we took the ferry back to the Polynesian and did the pool for the rest of the afternoon.  We grabbed lunch at the hotel and then Tatum went down the slide about a 1000 times and loved it.

St. Patrick's Day

We celebrated St. Patrick's Day a little more than usual this year.  We had a party with friends and the boys got to make all sorts of crafts and Leprechaun bait to sprinkle on the front yard the night before.  Once Tatum saw one of his friends making a leprechaun trap, we of course had to do one and quickly have a few items for him to leave out.

The boys were quite excited with their special breakfast that morning and to see that while they didn't catch a leprechaun, he did leave some candies and died the toilet water green!

This & That

We've had a few warmer weather days and it's making me want spring as soon as possible.  Both boys love playing outside and I can't wait until we can do it daily.

We had the best time visiting family in Georgie for a long weekend.  Seeing these cousins playing and having fun together was the best!

We've tried to make it a point to have no plans at least one night out of each weekend and have been enjoying family nights at home playing, doing movie night, etc.

Last but not least - Pajama Day at school...
