Theodore: Four & Five Months

At four months... Teddy weighed in at 15 pounds, 7 ounces and measured out at 2 feet, 1 inch tall.  He's solidly into 3-6 month outfits, still in size 2 diapers and smiles at anyone he can!  He is very expressive, makes a ton of noise, rolls over back to front, loves being on his belly, and has started holding rattles.

At five months...
He laughed for the first time (over us saying no), went on two vacations, started drooling more and wearing bibs, loves bath time, continues to be such a smiley boy, sleeps mostly through the night, isn't quite on a schedule yet and is very content in his sit up  chairs and/or with rattles.

Preschool Two's Last Day

I can't believe this crazy year has come to an end. Tatum started the year not wanting to go to school and ended the year not wanting school to end.  I look forward to a much more normal school year next year and just as much fun as we had this year!

Theodore's Baptism

Last Sunday we had such a special day celebrating our sweet Teddy.  It was also the first time we'd been back into the church sanctuary since before Covid so it was extra special.  He woke up all smiles as usual and we were so happy for this meaningful day.

After church we had a small party with grandparents, godparents and his uncle to continue enjoying our day.  It was a low key celebration but very much enjoyed.

This & That

It's been quite a while since I've done one of these... Despite the humid and hot temperatures (and hiding in the AC this week) we really enjoyed things warming up late May so we could have time outside playing, easy summer dinners and getting ready for bed when it's still light out...

We had a fun trip to the zoo - Tatum's first time to the Philly Zoo and he had a blast as well as the rest of us did too...

Memorial Day Weekend was anything but the typical start of summer.  It was completely freezing, rainy and not summer like at all.  Because of the weather we had an impromptu low key weekend.

We did manage to get up to the lake for a quick visit - looking forward to getting back up there and being able to enjoy the dock and some warm weather.

Palm Beach: Part Three

For our second to last dinner we had no plans and considered a few options at the hotel/outside the hotel but opted to stay at the pool late, take quick showers and then go back to the Seafood Bar again.  We made sure to finish in time to make it to Mary Lilly's for ice cream before it closed.

Waking up Thursday was bittersweet - it was our last full day but we'd had such a blast this week.  I got some stuff packed up then we went over to the Flagler Museum and down to Del Rey for lunch with a family friend.

Tatum and I went down to the beach for a little bit then we finished up with lots of swimming.  Teddy took a long nap so we were both able to play with Tatum a lot.  The weather was fantastic.

We finished off our delicious meals back at the Italian restaurant but not without lots of playing at the playground and arcade first.  We hurried back off to Mary Lilly's for more ice cream to end the trip.  Friday morning it was time to head home!
