Kiawah: Part Two

Our third day in Kiawah it was out to the pool as soon as we were awake and then off to the beach later in the day.  We did a boat cruise later in the day which was such an experience as we got totally soaked on the way out to a private beach to have the kids pick shells - it was such a blast and a fun memory.  We finished off our last full night back at the Ryder Cup Bar.

Our flight on our last day wasn't until evening so we had a nice half day at the beach playing and enjoying the sun before heading back to Freshfields on our way to the airport.  We were a little delayed but made it home in time for bedtime!

Kiawah

It's been 15 months since we last flew on an airplane and we were so happy to get back to it.  It was Teddy's first flight, it was Tatum's first trip with friends and it was such a fun experience especially to be back traveling again.

We got to Kiawah and went right to Freshfields Village like we usually do - picking up essentials at the grocery store, shopping and lunch were how we kicked off the trip then it was right out to the pool after we checked in.  After happy hour we were thrilled to find out that the Ryder Cup Bar was still open as it was supposed to have already been closed for the upcoming PGA tournament.

The next day the boys were off to golf and the ladies and kids walked to the market, played outside and then had brunch before heading to the pool for a nice long pool day.  We all met back up around dinner time to head to Cherrywood BBQ for dinner and watching the alligators.

Mother's Day 2021

We had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend at the shore.  It was my first Mother's Day as a mom of two and I had a great time spending a low key weekend with my boys, my own mom and my family...
