Lake Scenes

We had another wonderful summer at the lake and it's hard to believe the season is already over.  Tatum really had the best time doing all the water things this summer and it was great family time... 

Theodore: 7 Months

 

With summer travels, Teddy still isn't on a strict routine.  He will smile at anyone who will look at him and will army crawl his way all over the place.  He is super squirmy and flips all over during diaper changes.

He LOVES baby food - hasn't found a kind he doesn't like - other than green beans - and enjoys his water.  We're working on his bottle schedule because he seems more interested in the actual food. 

He continues to be a great overnight sleeper - naps are hit or miss but he usually does three with one/two of them being better than the other.

This & That

Each week seems to be going faster than the last and August has been so busy with all sorts of activities... We had a family golf night then dinner out on the patio and it was fun for all of us...

Tatum and I attended the Mother/Son Super Hero Dance at our country club with dinner, dancing, games and dress up - we both had a great time.

Last week Tatum spent each night at Vacation Bible School at church - I love that he's old enough to be able to do these kinds of things now.

We went to see Mickey and pals on Disney on Ice and have a little tailgate with friends before - Mickey continues to be a favorite in our house.

This week Tatum is doing another first - his first week of camp!  Just a half day but all the fun tires him right out.

Enjoying lots of nice brother time too...

Summer in Avalon

We've had many great trips down to the shore this year but last week we spent the entire week down in Avalon with my whole family.  Tatum played countless rounds of putt putt, Teddy tried tons of new baby food and we had many long beach days, fun pool days, dinners at home and out, playing with friends, tons of family time and great weather.

We're enjoying soaking up all the final summer things before back to school next month... it's going quickly and last week was a nice time to slow down and enjoy summer.
