Happy October!

Happy October!  Not that Tatum "gets" the holiday at all but now that he's a little bit more active, I want to make holidays fun for him from the start.  We recently put out his little table and chairs - he still eats in his high chair of course but it's something for him to hold onto/climb on/throw the plates off/play at/etc.

The plates, placemats and cups in his basket (a toy for now, to use later) are all from the Target dollar section.  I also set up a little basket in the kitchen with paper and plastic plates, fun napkins and other things to grab to make his meals more fun this month.

On Monday to kick off the month I had his little table set up for him after nap - he got a little bucket with a few goodies to use for the month - just about all under $3 other than the skeleton pajamas.  A light up pumpkin wand, pumpkin cups (favorite) and a little book.  He loves rubber duckies so I grabbed him a dozen pack of halloween ones on Amazon but they came yesterday so I'll surprise him with them today.

  3. That is so cute! We love our little white table like that. Granted, it's been colored on so much that the Magic Eraser barely touches it anymore, but we still love it nonetheless!
