Friday was a special day... our two best friends got engaged and we were able to help set up and celebrate with them. The weather was great and she was caught totally off guard as they stopped into town on their way to another destination.
Saturday morning we took Tatum to Cricket Boo - a cute Halloween event. He dressed as a little lion which isn't his actual Halloween costume but very cute. After lunch we did a handful of errands for his birthday party the next day.
Saturday evening we had some family over for the Penn State/Indiana game. I set the crockpots for meatball and buffalo chicken sliders and we had a great time watching the win.
Sunday morning we were up early for some playing.. It was too cold and windy for a walk so we got in some time in the playroom before Tatum's grandparents got here to watch him for the morning.
We spent the rest of the day celebrating Tatum's birthday with "Tatum's Tailgate" - I'll share more details later this week but we used our neighborhood clubhouse for the morning/afternoon to celebrate. After we continued watching football with some friends and it was a great day of celebrating!
