Christmas Eve
Started the day off with the fourth annual Christmas Eve breakfast
Came home to find that Nash got not one but TWO pieces of mail, addressed to him
We lit our luminaries and headed out to Fellini's for (our second year) of Christmas Eve dinner there before church
After church we stopped off at Aunt Julie & Uncle Jeff's to celebrate Casey's birthday.
We stayed out a little later than expected so I helped out and put together everyone's stockings (except my own, of course)
Christmas Day
I woke up in my Christmas pajamas (matching with mom) and got ready to head down and see what Santa brought.
Davey knows that I sometimes (in years past) have gotten upset when he goes down to the tree without me. I happily found him waiting at the top of the steps when I came out of the bathroom so we could go down together.
I had to flip over the final day on one of our advent calendars first
Some photos under the tree before beginning opening presents
Mother & Father of the Bride Glasses/Lady Antebellum Tickets
You know your growing up when you give each other household products
We each got "Santa's Magic Key" from Mom and Steve's trip to Williamsburg
Can't forget about sweet Nash; he loves Christmas, so much.
Our traditional Christmas Breakfast is one of everyone's favorites (details to come)
We spent the afternoon at Grandmom's opening up presents with her and Uncle Steve.
We spent Christmas night at Aunt Gini's complete with a new tradition of our Family White Elephant Gift Exchange, Christmas Dinner and plenty of Christmas Cheer.
December 26th
The 26th counted as part of Christmas this year because Derek had to work on Christmas Day so we celebrated with him on the night of the 26th
We had our own little Christmas first before opening up presents that "Santa" left at our house for him
LOVING my new head massager
Ready to take on our new roles in life
More to come on Christmas Break later..
