Stocking Stuffers {Under $25, Under $50, Splurge} + $325 Nordstrom Gift Card Giveaway

(Update 12/1/15): Linking up about these lovely stocking stuffers today with Jess, Amy & Alisha for Little Bits of Cheer and Katie, Pinky & Sara for Countdown to Christmas.  The giveaway below is over but pop over to today's post for a fabulous Lilly Pulitzer giveaway - perfect to treat yourself for Christmas!

The other day at Target I started scoping out my "stocking stuffer" picks which inspired me to do a little sharing.  Picking out/receiving stocking stuffers might be my favorite thing to give/open on Christmas morning.  First, I love anything little in size and second, all the items are always such fun and most usually a surprise since most people don't write a stocking list. (I picked up Stella's very first stocking yesterday at Home Goods - it's plaid.  I can't wait to fill it for our little sweet pup).

Derek and I make stockings at home for each other with a couple nicer items and get our usual stockings from each of our families.  My family has had a tradition for the past few years where everyone has to buy 5 things for each person's stocking so it doesn't fall on my mom Santa to fill them all.  We have fairly big stockings and usually an overflow bag so it works well for us and is always such fun because everyone else gets in on the giving.

General stocking stuffer ideas…
Mini wine bottles (my favorite!), headbands, hair ties, headphones, books, coasters, candy, drink mixers, coffee mugs, DVD's, jewelry, slippers, memory cards, candles, magazines, scarves, soaps, sanitizes, nail file, makeup, post it notes, k cups, travel toiletry items, cocktail napkins, hand towels, underwear, nail polishes, the list goes on an on.

A little bit more specific…
{top row} one // two // three // four
{middle row} five // six // seven // eight
{bottom row}nine // ten // eleven // twelve

{top row} one // two // three

  7. Stocking stuffers are a favorite of mine, too! I know not every family does them, so I love that yours does! My mom goes a little overboard...it is more like a few gifts actually in the stocking and then a whole bag full of presents that are considered "stocking stuffers." I love the idea that you guys each buy presents, so that it doesn't all go on your mom! Such a great idea.
