On Weekend Time…

Happy Monday, all! I can't even complain that it's Monday because we're still on weekend time over here. There are few things in life that I love more than a short week - more specifically weeks that start on Tuesdays.

We've been spending the weekend down in Dallas, y'all! (I love getting in all the "y'alls" I can while in the south).  I'm continuing to be unplugged today and enjoy "getaway" time but I thought I'd share a little peek into our past trips to Dallas since both were posted before the blog was public.

Derek's a Dallas Cowboys fan and seeing as how we live in enemy territory, he doesn't see many Cowboys games up here in Philadelphia.  We've also grown to really enjoy the little city of Dallas so for the past two falls we've made a weekend trip down to see a game, do a little exploring and enjoy some time away.

Last years trip truly was a weekend trip and we stayed just one night - tis the season for busy.  We still got in some adventuring including landmarks in downtown Dallas, an afternoon at Top Golf and stopping by an actual Kendra Scott Store.

Our first year and everything was new to us.  The rooftop at The Joule had great views, we found a favorite in Nick and Sam's Steakhouse and did some exploring at the Dallas Arboretum in addition to all the downtown sites.

And just because I love the CMT show:

Be back tomorrow!
