This weekend was definitely a favorite. We kicked it off with a holiday party, went to college game day and a tailgate for the army/navy game {more on all that tomorrow}, did church and brunch and found plenty of time for relaxing and christmas movie watching. We enjoyed the unusual 60+ degree weather with a multi mile walk with Stella and took the time to add some more lights and decor to our outdoor display. My favorite was probably not getting out of bed until time for church on Sunday morning - pure relaxation!
Friday night we went to an Ugly Sweater Party that one of our friends from college and her fiancé were throwing. We had a blast being festive, catching up and mingling. They had delicious catered food, drinks constantly flowing, plenty of holiday games and even a photo booth Christmas tree. They stuck props into the tree like reindeer antlers, a santa hat and beard, and more - it was such a fun & festive ideas.
We tried to snap a couple of photos before heading out with Stella since she was sporting a Christmas bow from her afternoon at the salon {note: she's already knocked the bow out} but she was not having it, I think she was missing her extra fur.
The photo booth Christmas tree was such fun.. We took advantage of more than one prop and more than one photo.
