I've got a couple more themes to go and will begin sharing them as an addition to my usual Friday post for the next few Fridays until Christmas. Next up, my most favorite - a Lilly Pulitzer gift guide and an under $35 guide for neighbors, friends, coworkers, secret santa, etc. I've got my themes set mostly but if there's a certain guide you'd like to see, share below!
Other 2015 Gift Guides…
stocking stuffers {under $25, under $50 and splurge}
for the wine lover
For the Jetsetter…
Who doesn't love to travel? I'm a sucker for cute travel items but I feel like not everyone is so they make a great gift because it might be something you might not usually buy yourself. I've gifted a jewelry roll before and I think it's the perfect gift as are the travel accessory items. The neck pillow may have just been added to my list because it's too adorable (and limited addition!). I love keeping my items separate in a suitcase so the travel bags are perfect. When packing my bathroom bag I try to keep it as light as possible which usually means eliminating perfume - travel sizes make a cute gift and are really useful.
For the Monogram Lover…
My favorite!! Whenever giving a gift - Holiday or non-holiday, my fist thought is always monogram. It puts an extra spin on things - you know it'll be unique. Monogrammed uggs, yes please! I'm eyeing that blanket for my office as well as just about everything on this list. Putting together a bag of little monogram things makes the perfect gift, in my opinion. (I tried to pick not the usual but I did include the necklace I always wear because I'm always asked where to get it).
For the Home (or parents, siblings, etc.)…
You know your getting older when you've got home items on your Christmas list. And when you find the cutest home items to give. Flannel sheets and a nice wooden cutting board top mine and Derek's "home items" Santa list this year. Everyone's grabbing recipes from Pinterest so a cookbook holder just for the iPad is fabulous. The home state drink coasters are so unique to me and let's face it, who doesn't want a mexican cookbook?!
For the Dog Lover (and the pup)…
With the newest member of the Sotherden family about to celebrate her first Christmas, how could I leave out the puppies and dog lovers. Our family dog, Nash, always gets his own stocking full of goodies each year and Stella will be no different. It's also not unusual for some dog gifts for the humans to appear under the tree.
For Any Leading Lady…
What lady doesn't love shopping for a lady? My favorite! Unless it's my mom or one of my closet friends I try to stick to general gift ideas. Gift sets are fantastic, things like wallets and makeup cases always work (possibly with a gift card inside?!) and scarves, purses, gloves and candles are a go to for me. I added in the Christmas pajamas because I can't seem to get enough of cozy pi's this year and the clarisonic because I'm finally eyeing one - better late than never, right?!
Additional ideas I love are gift cards {presented in a nice way}, massages/facials, rain/snowboots, any kind of jewelry {perhaps another guide coming soon}, and the list could go on and on.
For Him…
I used to have no idea what to get for my dad, brother, husband but as the years go on, I seem to have TOO many ideas on my list. There are always such fun ways to surprise them. Derek can't get enough of his Beats and we did Bose speakers for a few men last year that were a huge hit. The personalized beer items add a fun little touch and the whiskey ball ice cube would get a lot of use here.
'Tis the season
In the spirit of spreading cheer, don't forget to enter this Lilly Pulitzer giveaway {with goodies including a gift card, wine tote, wine coaster and acrylic wine glass set}. Lots of luck!
