Red and green aren't always prominent in my wardrobe (although, I'm trying to work on that!) so I always try to get my holiday outfits together early. There always end up being last minute changes but I've gathered together some inspiration from items I already have (or Santa may be bringing) and I figured what good is sharing the details after the holiday in case others are still putting together their looks too.
Christmas Just the Two: Every year around between the 21st and the 23rd Derek and I have our own little Christmas with dinner and gift giving - I love this little tradition we're creating with a special time to focus on celebrating the holiday just the two of us. {scarf: here // red dress: here // booties: here}
Christmas Morning: For years my mom and I have done matching pajamas (my brother and I did when we were little) but in recent years even the whole family does them - it's one of my absolute most favorite parts of the day! {I couldn't find ours online but they are Macy's - Charter Club for anyone looking. The men's set is either charter club or polo but it matches exactly. This set is pretty similar}.
Christmas Eve: My favorite day of the year! After an annual breakfast, some holiday baking, stuffing all the stockings - except mine and enjoying the hustle and bustle of the day I love getting dressed up for dinner out before our church service. I cannot get enough plaid this year. {tartan dress: here}
Family Christmas Dinner: We always does a family Christmas dinner at Maggiano's each season and even though it's early in the season, it's still festive. {Tartan Shirt: here}
Christmas Party: Some years when it's an "on" year for the extended family we reserve a room and do a nice dinner out to add to the festivities or I might be thinking of this look for an holiday weekend away. {dress: here // necklace: here}
Christmas Night:
Christmas night it's always tradition for our extended family to gather together - it's the best time and the night goes on and on. {fur vest: sold out // banana red top: here // cheetah heels: here}
