Tatum Beau: Three Months

Height/Weight/Health:
He weighs about 13.5 pounds right at the three month mark.  Not sure on his height.  We know weight due to our first trip to urgent care weekend before last for a small case of pink eye - which heeled up quickly with a few drops.

He also had his first little could around the holidays but nothing crazy.  His cheeks have been pretty chapped with the cold winter and he has a little bit of dry skin.

He's been doing a ton of drooling too.

Clothes:
Still hanging in for 0-3 clothes but we should be upgrading to 3-6 soon so he's right on track.  Just a week or so ago we switched up to size two diapers.

Feedings:

He's still pretty similar to before - about 5 ounces every three hours or so.  He's recently started skipping the overnight feed so occasionally he'll have a little more during the day.

He upgraded from the slow flow medella bottles to comotomo/tomee tipee bottles and has been doing great with them.

Sleep:
He improved on sleep as his third month went on and would hit longer and longer stretches as the time passed.  The night after Christmas he slept through the night for the first time - we think from all the attention and excitement plus a little cold. He had a few other full night sleeps but didn't start doing it regularly until he was just days past three months and  not swaddled.

He's still in his bassinet but we've been doing some crib naps which are going fairly well - he still loves sleeping in his swing.

We slowly worked on getting him out of the swaddle this month - starting with one arm, then both and now still swaddled with his arms free - a few tears at first but he loves it now.  The Pampers baby dry diapers help us last longer at night too.  We started doing baths some nights too and he always sleeps great after a bath.

Likes:
He likes listening to music, being read to, playing with a few toys, kisses from Stella, being in his carseat, kicking on his playmat, playing with/eating his hands, looking at balloons/lights, standing on our laps and looking out. He loves smiling and "talks" to us too.

Disklikes:
Same as usual - being hungry or having a dirty diaper.  He hates getting nose drops and sometimes just cries to be cuddled.

Milestones:
Overall he's looking less newborn and more baby like - right around the three month mark we really noticed changes of him growing and being more active.

He had his first overnight - a sleepover at Lovie and Poppy's while Derek and I had a Christmas party at the house.

Just before three months he started laughing and we love it - such a cute thing.

He found his hands and loves playing with them... and eating them too.  This usually buys us a few extra minutes in the morning where he'll lay and entertain himself before crying to get up.

He can roll from his tummy to his back and enjoys tummy time for the most part.

Adventures:
He met Santa... four times and slept for three out of the four of them.  He also helped celebrate his mommy's birthday, his first Christmas and his first New Year's Eve.

He did tons of Christmas activities and got tons of attention.

He took his first trip two weeks before he turned three months and did wonderfully - he loved the airplane and was all smiles.

Other:
Even though he's growing out of that newborn stage, I still love when he falls asleep on me.
