Also very requested were home posts - I promise they are coming! I'll do a look into some rooms soon then share by room once they are ready - For now I share peeks inside on my instagram.
Malibu - June 2017
Hotels:
Beverly Hills: Our favorite is The Beverly Hills Hotel, the staff is so friendly and always makes you feel at home, the food is our favorite in all the area, and the pool area is gorgeous. Another great pick is The Beverly Wilshire - you can't beat it's location right at the end of Rodeo Drive plus it's well known from Pretty Woman.Santa Monica: Loews Santa Monica has recently had a remodel and is located within walking of most big restaurants and shopping in SM. The Fairmont Mirmar has great views and the bungalow is one of the best night spots in the area.
Malibu: If you're looking to stay out this way there's really only one option - the Malibu Beach Inn - located right on the beach, near the pier. Just outside of Malibu but a great little area is the Westlake Village Inn - a quaint hotel right next to a winery and out of the hustle/bustle of the area.
Beverly Hills - June 2016
Restaurants:
Beverly Hills: The Polo Lounge and Cabana Cafe are our favorite - every dish is delicious and you will not be sorry with the McCarthy Salad. Craig's is not only sure to see a celebrity but the food is amazing too. Rather new but Catch LA is very tasty and has a gorgeous roof top to enjoy. Driving up through the Hollywood Hills is fun - looking at the mansions and taking in the city views from lookout points. I'd be lying if I didn't say In & Out was one of our favorites too. Santa Monica: Ivy at the Shore not only has tasty food but the decor is the cutest - fresh flowers everywhere, darling plates, etc. The Ivy in West Hollywood is just as good.
Malibu: Nobu Malibu is the it spot there - the food is good but the views and setting are even better. Mastro's Ocean Club is great within that chain because they have more seafood then many of the other locations. Casa Escobar has many locations and is great for a Mexican fix.
Santa Monica - January 2017
Activities:
Beverly Hills: Strolling Rodeo to see the sights, touring the Greystone Mansion and Virginia Robertson Gardens, riding the trolley through town, etc. Close by any of the "Hollywood" things are fun - touring WB studios is neat to see, seeing the walk of fame/sights by there and shopping at the Grove. Most of the hotels have great pool areas as we very much enjoy spending time doing that!Santa Monica: Enjoying the beach, shopping at the promenade and making a visit over to Venice to see the canals are top activities.
Malibu: Malibu Wine Safaris is hands down our favorite thing to do - we also love hanging at the winery on property, Saddlerock Ranch, as well. Even with the baby we'll be able to continue going because they have some kid friendly tours as well. Strolling the pier and enjoying the beach are perfect ways to spend a day.
If anyone has kid friendly activities in the area, I'd love to hear!
Thanks for stopping by! xx
