This & That

After a week off for vacation and then time off for the long weekend, yesterday it was back to reality. We are most definitely in summer mode around here.

I'll look forward to sharing about our trip next week and our holiday weekend at the lake tomorrow but we did enjoy some of the long weekend at home too.  Monday we enjoyed a day of relaxing and some errands after being away and Tuesday we enjoyed a relaxed holiday - time at the pool, a gathering with friends and BBQ-ing.

I'm trying to work more and more fresh flowers into the house during this season and these were perfect for a little patriotic touch - I always love blue and white.

Speaking of blue and white - we've added some accent pillows to our deck and picked up some lanterns so we're good to go on enjoying our outdoor space until some changes and additions next summer.

Anything organized makes me happy - we finally got our outside drink fridge stocked, and while it's a little more la croix and a little less wine, it's just a phase in time I keep telling myself :)

Now that we're moved in, one vacation is done it's time to switch from settling into the house back to baby things.  We ordered the nursery furniture over the weekend to take advantage of the PB Kids sale and I'm hoping to get a lot more done this month while I have the energy so there isn't much saved until the end.

My parents kindly watched Stella for us while we we were away and she thinks their house is like a dreamland so we know she was happy.  These two are two peas in a pod.

Have a good day! xx
