This & That

Our first snapshot as a family of four (five including Stella) and a side by side of both of my boys - they could be twins!

A couple nights before Teddy was born and a couple nights after he was born - we love our couch time together.

On the note of couch time - that's where we've been spending a lot of our time!  I love being cozy and cuddling up with my boys.

With adjusting to life with a second child and how cold it's been lately, we've been doing tons of at home activities which has been fun.

Mid January Tatum was finally back to preschool after having been off since Thanksgiving - he's so happy to be back and I'm happy to have a couple quieter mornings each week.

We've been trying to do special things to focus on Tatum and this night was a hit for all of us - make your own pizzas - our little chef did a great job.

Most nights look like this... cozy cuddle time!

This & That

After being home since March (first picture sums that up), last week we had Tatum's preschool orientation and today - he finally had his first day in person today.  He went in no problem and came out wanting to stay longer!

Even though we can't attend games in person this year, Penn State's season finally started back up two weeks ago so we went up to Penn State for the weekend to at least enjoy one weekend up there this fall.

While being stuck at home we've done many house projects, I've been waiting on the completion of these rooms since the start of summer - we had our pantry done.

As well as the laundry room... 

This has been a busy week around here including voting in the election and also celebrating Derek's birthday - I can't believe it's November already.

We have some summer like weather in the days ahead so I'm looking forward to the boys heading to the golf course and I'm sure we'll all be playing golf in the yard with Tatum.

This & That

Summer is well underway and while some days it doesn't really feel like summer, we're making the most of it and enjoying what we can do.  We get in as many pool days a week as we can and lots of playing outside.

We've taken a break from most of the activities and crafts we'd been doing but Tatum did make a few festive creations ahead of the Fourth of July.

We had an outdoor movie night a few weeks ago in our neighborhood and it was such fun for the kids - Tatum must have had about four cups of popcorn and after sitting nicely for a bit was running all over with his friends.

Most weekends we've been enjoying a wonderful and relaxing time at the lake - lots of sun, swimming for Tatum and family time.

This & That

Almost two weeks ago restaurants around here opened up for outdoor dining so we had our first meal outside in 3+ months and we all were very happy to be out.

We had another wonderful weekend at the lake - perfect summer weather, lots of relaxing and lots of swimming from the waters edge over to the dock ladder for Tatum.  He loves when Stella gets in and swims with him too.

I included this leaf blower bubble toy in an online order to get free shipping and it's been such a hit - we play with it outside just about every day!

On what should have been the last day of school we had popsicles and did a little popsicle craft that I had seen for our morning activity.
