Weekend Before Christmas Scenes

It's been a while since I did a weekend recap and no better time than the busy holiday season.  It seems we tried to pack all the holiday events into one weekend.

Getting a little festive for some last minute errands, shopping, etc...

It was a long and unexpected week so we happily spent Friday night at home - Christmas movie watching, cookie baking and enjoying crockpot soup with a couple appetizers.

Saturday morning we woke up to our first "snow." I'll count the first snow a little more when we have a couple inches on the ground but it was enough for a lazy morning with breakfast/hot chocolate on the couch watching Christmas movies - plus a trip to check on the new house in the little bit of snow too.

Saturday evening we headed into the city for one of my favorite new traditions - seeing The Nutcracker.  I was in the show when I was little and last year we went to see it and I want to go every year now.

Between the show and dinner we breezed through the Christmas Village set up in the city.

A Christmas dinner, just the two of us, at one of our favorite places - Ocean Prime - which is always a delicious meal and a good time.

To finish out the festive night we stopped at our friends annual Christmas party which had a pajama theme for this year - the best idea!

Sunday was filled with sleeping in, the Christmas Pageant at church and a couple quick errands before kicking off Christmas week with a party at the new neighborhood.

A festive pup enjoying the weekend before Christmas.

We finished things off by watching some more movies, enjoying the twinkle lights, crossing things off the never ending Christmas to do list and enjoying relaxing in pajamas.

One week to go! xx
