wine + twinkle lights are my favorite combo
A few classic holiday looks...

We all went out last night to celebrate my birthday - in all the Christmas craziness throwing a birthday into Christmas week makes it even that much more exciting. We had a delicious steak dinner followed by cupcakes and presents at home.
After a morning at the office, I spent the afternoon Tuesday enjoying a massage (and enjoying the 15% off birthday special) and getting my nails all red for Christmas (lucky that my punch card for a free manicure happened to be that day).
Wrapping night is always my favorite - in fact, I was still finishing some things up last night and have one gift still coming in the mail to finish. The Container store always has the nicest display of paper and of course I love Target's selection too. {I love making my own labels - just type in Christmas gift label on google and you can print a bunch off}
I made my favorite peanut butter blossoms last week and always cheat using the bag peanut butter mix, rolling it into a little ball covered in sugar then sticking the Hershey kiss in after they come out.
I think I've found a new favorite cookie recipe - these Christmas crinkle cookies - they are delicious, soft and festive. I'm making another batch next week for our family Christmas party.
Our Christmas drink tray is always ready and actively used.
We've spent most nights (that we're free) on the couch watching all of the Christmas movies. I'm going to miss this come January.
Stella thinks it's Christmas break already - not quite, sister!
Happy birthday! You look really refreshed in your picture thanks to your massage and manicure :) This season is my absolute favorite!

I procrastinated big time this year with baking - I have to do all mine today and tomorrow. I should try your shortcut with the peanut butter blossoms!
