December House Update

We're wrapped up in the holiday season but things are really moving with the new house - every time we go there is something different to see - luckily we live about two minutes away! 

 They poured the foundation just after my last update (just before Thanksgiving)... 


 One of our favorite parts so far was when the framing first went up, we don't have any pictures right when it started since we kept driving by at night but here are a few once it was well underway... 

For our most recent visit there was some snow on the ground! Next up, we're getting a roof for Christmas - kidding, but the roof should be on any day now.

And after about 15 hours and five visits - we're done at the design center...

    Love it! I laughed when you said it took about 15 hours and 5 visits to pick out everything haha!!! I understand! We did a custom build for our home and hired a contractor, so every time he would call us to let me know I had to go pick out something else, I got to really know those people there because I visited constantly until I had to make my decision haha! So when I had to pick out lights, I visited the light fixture store alone, then with my husband, and then with my mom haha! That poor lady got to know me really well!

    So exciting!! We are going to be building a house 10 minutes away in 2017 and this gets me even more excited about it!! Lots of decisions, I know. ;-)

    One of the best parts about building was getting to see progress every time you drove by! Hooray for a roof for Christmas and being done at the design center!
