Day Seven - Unwinding
We set out for lunch and enjoyed the most delicious little deli - so much that we went back the next day. Some final shopping on Rodeo took place - including a new pair of Tory Burch shoes since Stella got some bites out of mom's that morning. Beverly Park and some other strolling took place as well until we grabbed the best lemonade I've ever had at the hotel bar and did some balcony reading before spending the rest of the day cooling off in the pool.
I just had to stroll through the ballroom that the Hollywood Foreign Press Gala was hosted in the night before since I read the full list of stars in attendance before pre dinner drinks. We did dinner at our favorite restaurant - probably of anywhere - Mastro's. I mentioned that we had gone to the Malibu location earlier in the week but nothing compares to the BH location. Last year we ate outside on the penthouse level so this year we opted for in - from the steak to the scallops to the apps and sides - everything was delicious. We could barely head out for drinks after because we were so full but we finished off the night.
And now a peek at the day through photos…
