Loving the Most…

It's always better to look at the positive in life than the negative.
This summer weather has me in a great mood
(well, except yesterday - rain rain rain, all day long.  No grilling. No dinner on the deck.  Snuggling under a blanket and being lazy!)
I thought today I'd share some little things I've been loving lately...

The fact that it's staying lighter longer and longer.
Like past 8pm longer.

Watering my flowers and garden.
I love the extra time outside and watching my little babies grow.

Chocolate peanut butter ice cream.
I wish I wasn't loving this but it's so hard to pass up a bowl after dinner.  A lot of times my grocery store doesn't have my favorite kind, turkey hill, but they've had it in stock a lot recently - Like I said - both good and bad.

That it's finally time for the Entourage movie.
We're going to see it tonight and I can't wait!

Sitting on the deck.
I could be sitting and sunning myself, sitting for dinner, sitting with a cocktail, sitting with my iPad or just sitting.  I can't get enough of enjoying the couch on our deck.

Online shopping.
I'm finding more and more I find more I like online than in the stores.  Plus returns are so easy so it's worth a shot.  It's also nice to escape the crowds.

Stella cuddles.
I feel so loved each day by the little looks I get from our sweet pup.  And the fact that she always wants to be close.  Never gets old.

Summer heat.
I know in a month I'll probably be complaining about "how hot it is" but right now, I'm loving the warmness outside.

That it's dress season.
I love wearing dresses much more than any other clothing item.  You can pretty much find me in a dress every weekday.  Okay, well a lot of time on the weekends too.  I'm also loving that I've been finding some more petite maxi dresses this year that don't need hemming.

Wine.  ALL of the wine.
What's better than enjoying a glass of white wine in the summertime? There's so many events as summer progresses and I most likely am holding a glass of white wine at each of them.  Unless I caved that day for a marg or summery drink which might happen too.  I'm joining Amanda for Wino Wednesday today too to share a new wine that I'm loving.

Chloe Wine
We usually like to make a big trip to the liquor store and stock the bar/wine fridge at once.  We were browsing the wines and I spotted Chloe Wine - how have I never seen this before?! Because they had just added it to the shelves.  The packaging is adorable, of course and it looks to be a light pino - my favorite.  Cheers to trying it out soon.  They also make a red and a chardonnay. How cute would this be to bring to a BYOB or a dinner party?!

What are you loving so far this summer??

Linking up with Kelli and Mia to share some favorites for this month.

  1. I 100% agree with your attitude, lady! Why choose to be negative about things when there are SO MANY things to be positive about. Cheers to warm weather, deck sitting, summer dresses and of course all the WINE!

  2. Yes to pretty much everything on your list! How about drinking wine, on your deck outside enjoying the weather....and maybe doing some online shopping from there? Why not combine all of those awesomes? :)

  3. I haven't seen Chole wine before, but the wine bottle is so pretty I need it haha!! I'm so happy that it's light out so much longer - makes me feel like I can accomplish more when I get home!!! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston

  4. Chloe is SO good! I bought it one day because the bottle was too pretty haha. And love all of your favorites too. So many things to be happy about!

  5. Visiting from Wino Wednesday ... sitting on the deck, yes a summer favorite of mine too. In my case, a backyard patio. Happy hour at my house begins at 4:00 so sunshine is a must, if no sun, front porch for sure. Will put that wine pick on my list to try.

  6. Ok I've never seen or heard of Chloe wine but that bottle is so adorable that it definitely makes me want to run out and get a bottle! And I'm with you, I'm loving the summer heat right now but ask me in a month or so and see what I say haha!

  7. YES to all of the wine :) I've seen that Chloe bottle in stores a few times but haven't bought it... yet. Cute labels always want to make me buy a bottle though!

  8. YES to the Entourage movie.. can't wait! I need some Ari and Lloyd banter in my life! And my favorites other than the warm weather this time of year is it being light out later, and just spending most of my time outside. I never complain about the heat in the summer (even here in FL) because I hate winter so much I moved here for a prolonged summer. I'd much rather be hot than cold, and I love cooling off in the water <3

*Cheers to the best time of year*

  9. Chocolate peanut butter ice cream?! Ummm...yum!!! I need some!! And yeah, I've been loving wine this summer too :) Well, all the time but in the summers I drink whites too since it's so hot out. Thanks for linking up, Christina!!! Have a great week!!

  10. i love wine in the summer--it's my fave season to drink it. random, but i do! preferably on a porch ifpossible ;)

  11. Thank you for reminding me about the Entourage movie! I can't wait to find out what Ari has been up to! I read that there are a bajillion and one celeb cameos!

  12. They'd have me at that cute packaging, too! I'm on the lookout for this wine now ;)

  13. I envy your attitude right now - it has been a less than stellar week around here, so I'm digging to the deepest depths for some positivity! I'm with you on all these - I love that the sun is out longer, and dog cuddles/loving looks just never get old. :)

  14. I have recently turned into an online shopper, as well. It is just so darn convenient...sometimes too much so! Loved reading this post! Definitely a reminder that "choosing" happy and focusing on the positive (even the small things, like sitting on the deck) can help improve your outlook and mood so much!

  15. Peanut butter chocolate ice cream is my absolute favorite. I am with is too good to resist. I almost never have it in the house, but of course you now have me plotting a stop at the grocery store on my way home today..
And online shopping is the way to go. Every time I go to the mall, I end up coming home and finding a better deal online, anyway. While sitting on my couch wearing yoga pants. ;-)

  16. Yes to that ice cream! And I am such an online shopper too! So much better than going to the stores now!

  17. That wine is adorable! I can't get enough ice cream & outside time too girl :)

  18. Yes to online shopping and dress season! My best friend is named Chloe and she got some of that wine for her birthday. The bottle is so cute!

  19. I totally agree - the long days and warm weather do wonders to my mood! Sitting on the porch swing in the late afternoon is definitely one of my favourites too!

  20. wine all the wine. YUP. that's pretty much my mantra lately. pair wine with the PB Choc ice cream and you've got a winner. haha!

  21. I love that I was finally able to bust out my dresses, too! I have worn a dress every day this week!
    Now I want wine...hmm...

  22. Ice cream is fine in moderation, I think, just like anything else. And it has calcium!

  23. I love Chloe! I especially love the bottle and the sweet little bow! Thank you for linking up :)

  24. Yes to all of this!! I'm trying to focus on gratitude more these days... Because really - my life isn't THAT bad... And I need to take moments to look around and say, "isn't this nice?" I am so jealous of your ice cream time, but totally agree that dress time = best time!! The wine bottle is SO cute too... I'm a little obsessed!

  25. Love this post & pinot grigio. What a cute bottle!
    Have a great day!

  26. Love this post and how you are intentional about being happy! Happy is contagious - keep spreading it around! Thanks for sharing at Waiting on...Wednesday!
