I recently shared my summer bucket list and one of the items on that list was to try out some new cocktail recipes. I love me some wine - any day, any time. However, in the summer, I like to treat myself to a delicious and cold cocktail sometimes too - it's just more fun when the heat is higher. I thought today I could share a few new drink recipes that I'm really looking forward to trying this summer - hopefully soon!
Champagne Margaritas: Champagne AND a margarita, need I say more? These are two of my favorite cocktails to sip on - so why not give them a shot together? This recipe could not be easier.
Watermelon Lime Margaritas: I have been loving watermelon anything lately - I mean, it's summer! This drink just looks like it would cool you down plus I love that it includes watermelon (in the drink and as a garnish) AND lime.
Lavender Collins: I've never tried anything with lavender in it (has anyone had it??) but based on just how pretty this drink looks as well as the other ingredients involved (fresh lemon juice, gin, club soda) I think that it's worth a try and has a good shot at being delicious.
Honey Citrus Cocktail: I love a drink that is lighter in color and tried another cocktail with dragon fruit vodka in it recently and was very on board with the taste. This drink also includes freshly squeezed grapefruit juice, orange juice and is lightly sweetened with honey so it seems like a perfect summer beverage!
What's your favorite cocktail to sip on? Is there anything I should be trying?
I had a hard time getting passed champagne margarita... two of my favorite things! And the Lavender Collins and the Honey Citrus Cocktail look so pretty! I've never made anything with lavender so if you do let me know how it turns out!

These all look delicious! Champagne margarita and the watermelon lime ones look like my favorites so far! Can't wait to hear which ones you try!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a huge tequila fan which is why I normally steer clear of margs, but that champagne one sounds really interesting!!! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteI want to get better at making cocktails at home too. I feel like I buy pre-made ones too often. These are all great options - especially that champagne marg! Can't wait to try that one!
ReplyDeleteI will take one of each, please! They all look great!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, the blueberry mojito looks amazing!! Well, they all do, but I like that one the best. :)
ReplyDeleteThese all look too pretty to drink! Bet they're delicious though :)
ReplyDeleteD, all of the above :)!
ReplyDeleteWhile that blueberry mojito sounds delicious, I'm not sure about the blue color.. That's kind of weird to me. And I'd worry that my lips would turn all blue!! Anyways... the rest of them, sign me up for that! :-) Also, do you drink rose wine? I have started to drink that in the summer because I don't like red wine when it's too hot. Just a thought! I hope that you have a great day and you should try to make one these over the weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh my! You have me drooling and it'll be MONTHS before i can have a sip! lol
ReplyDeleteThese all look delicious and refreshing - anything with blueberries has my name on it!
ReplyDeleteAll these drinks look and sound SO delicious. I definitely want to try some...I have a girls weekend coming up, so it sounds like the perfect time! A cocktail I have been loving lately is from a local restaurant...Bicardi Mango Fusion, mango puree, pineapple juice and lime juice. It's SO yummy.
ReplyDeleteYummmm I used to love dragonfruit vodka!! After I finally finished my bottle it was moving time and I never got around to repurchasing! Thankfully Chris loves to make drinks, he even took a bitters class a few weeks ago! He makes a mean classic marg, with fresh honey, limes and lemons, and sometimes throws a jalapeno in there for essence!
ReplyDeleteI'm a on the rocks kind of girl! These look amazing. I want to try them all. We make margaritas with beer in them all the time too :) reminded me of your champagne margarita, which sounds delicious as well.
ReplyDeleteYum! I'm a rocks kind of girl... But something about vacations always make me carve a blended drink, like piña coladas!
ReplyDeleteI so need that blueberry mojito in my life! Perfect answer to my CSA blueberries and garden full of mint!
ReplyDeleteThis summer my drink of choice is an angry orchard but I am trying to find something more crisp to drink and not so sweet. This weekend I am going to see what I can do with La Croix and maybe some vodka?
ReplyDeleteYUM! You had me at champagne margaritas - 2 of my all time favs together :-D
