Two days after Tatum finished up school for the year we took off for another trip to Nantucket and stopped at Chatham Bars Inn for two nights on our way. The air was instantly cooler and this cute New England beach town was such a nice spot. We grabbed lunch right away outside at The Beach House Grill and then enjoyed the pool/beach. After a travel day we decided to do dinner right there on the property at the Sacred Cod then it was right off to bed.
The next day after playing inside our cottage room and on the grass outside we took a walk then set off to walk around the main street in town to shop (first stop at an old fashioned candy shop and toy store) then had lunch outside at Wild Goose Tavern. It was somewhat overcast but nothing to stop us from the pool and the beach. That evening we had an early boat cruise, drinks (and snacks for Tatum) outside at The Veranda and then swapped out our dinner plans for a pizza party outside our cottage on the lawn.
