Friday Derek was up early for golf and Tatum and I went for a walk, breakfast at the cafe, he napped in the room while I read on our patio and then we headed down to the clubhouse to see Derek finish up his round.
We made our way down to the beach for about an hour while we waited for our table at the Beachcomber Cafe and then over to the Bootlegger for a drink while we waited for the hotel shuttle to leave.
We did a long afternoon at the pool - this was our nicest day so far so we grabbed chairs under the awning for Tatum and all got right into the water.
It was the perfect pool day, sunny and upper 70's, there was a Kettle One cart out with some specialty drinks like froze' and such and we stayed until a little after 5 since we were all enjoying it so much.
For dinner we tried a new to us spot at the hotel - The Pelican Grill which is over by the club house. We waited to eat on the patio and had great views and a tasty steak dinner.
This looks like such a fun family vacation!

I ate at Javier's in Newport the first time I traveled to Newport Beach!! It was so fun because the RHOC had eaten there before I went and I was so into that show haha!
