There is no time I love being at home more than during the holidays - I love having the lights on the trees, having the fire going and watching Christmas movies. This is our first Christmas in the new house and it was so much fun to decorate. I didn't pull out all of my decorations because... Tatum and I got a couple little new ones - we also have the real tree this year in addition to the trees we usually have!
We hardly ever use our kitchen table - especially right now with dinners being so iffy - that's why it's always set for guests.
Not too much going on in the kitchen - a few little touches on the counter tops that aren't shown and the main reason I wanted that white credenza was to be able to decorate for the holidays.
sleigh / plates / tree / napkins
santa claus sign - home goods
florals - michaels
mittens - pottery barn
sleigh and fillings - target $$ section
little signs - hobby lobby
Each of the nutcrackers we've gotten each year when we go to see the ballet. We'll add another one to the collection this year.
The dining room is our "gold decorations" room - the wreath used to be a centerpiece but I didn't want it to go to waste so just grabbed a wreath hanger and hung it up.
manger - family item
nutcracker and signers - home goods
wreath - target
tables cape items - home goods
place settings - spode (here)
In our old house we didn't have a fireplace so I'm thrilled to have somewhere to hang our stockings. The poinsettias are from a local farm and the trees to each side we used to use in the foyer of our old house.
All of the little signs are a mix of home goods and a local shop...
Similarly, all of these bookshelf decorations are a combo of gifts we've been given, home goods, a local shop.
The living room was already becoming my favorite room but even more so now that the tree lights are on and it's cozy. The ornaments are new this year so I went with a navy/red theme to match the room - we needed all of our usual ornaments for the real tree.
With how much time we spend in the playroom, I couldn't help but add a few decorations and tie a bow on the giraffe. Derek and I have been hiding the elf for
