'Tis the season for grilling - we really wanted to enjoy one more grilling session on our deck so a shrimp broil (prepared from Wegman's!) seemed like a perfect fit.
I kicked things off on Friday by heading out for a day of shopping with my mom - lately shopping's revolved around the house or the baby so it was fun to just hit the sales for ourselves.
I love this dress because it'll fit for most of this summer then again in the future (so comfortable and a great price!). This coverup I was able to just get my regular size and one of the sales girls recommended this style dress because it's great for a growing bump but also can be worn again next year.
We got some of the big rooms packed up like the kitchen and our bedroom/bathroom and poor Stella is confused as could be. A quick nap after each session was needed.
The weather ended up being nicer than expected so our first patio meal (Mexican!) was the perfect way to spend a night with family. A virgin margarita too.
I wouldn't say I've had too many cravings but I've definitely been more interested in donuts than usual. We made our first ever trip to Krispy Kreme and my goodness we will be back!
Something I wanted to do this summer was go strawberry picking so while we had an open afternoon we figured it would be a good time to do it!
Obsessed with these old navy workout shorts - great for pregnant or not.
That shrimp boil looks delicious - I am going to have to see if a local store has that, too! Love your Lilly purchases. It seems like all will work well with your bump this summer and then again in the future! I bet it is so crazy to see your empty cabinets - so exciting though!
ReplyDeleteOh my gracious, I am OBSESSED with Krispy Kreme! Those donuts are sooooo addicting. Love the shrimp boil, and I swear we need a Wegman's here!
ReplyDeleteLilly has so many perfect dresses that are pregnancy friendly and postpartum friendly!! Yet another reason why I love them so much haha! Cleaning out your kitchen must mean the move is getting close!! Yay!

Krispy Kreme is SO good-they had them in MN and then about ten years ago pulled them all out :-( So sad. Doesn't an empty house feel so weird!? Hopefully the packing went quick and smooth for you!
ReplyDeleteStrawberry picking - so fun! Glad all the packing is going well!
ReplyDeleteYay for some fun shopping, and beautiful summer dresses that will work now and after the baby is here. And yummmm to all the donuts and Mexican food <3

So jealous of the Krispy Kreme, there are none around me. Yay for new dresses from Lilly. They are prefect for the heat and your little bump. Hope the packing went well, I know how much work it is.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you've never been to Krispy Kreme!! Holy moly! They have THE BEST glazed donuts around. Nobody can top theirs! Especially when they're warm... YUM.
ReplyDeleteLove the Lilly purchases! Wow great job fitting all that in and packing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun weekend - love your new Lilly purchases :)
ReplyDeleteSo I'm from Raleigh, NC - the birth place of Krispy Kreme and where the original still stands. KKs are special and it makes my heart sing that you've now had them :)
ReplyDeleteWait what, your FIRST trip to Krispy Kreme??? Omg how in the world?!? I live for that place hahah
ReplyDeleteLove all the quality time you and your mom spend together! Wish I lived closer to my mom to celebrate all the occasions like your family does. Such a blessing to have them near especially as you're pregnant.
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to go strawberry or blueberry or even apple picking...none has happened so far but looks like you got some sweet goodies to take home.
Looks like a great weekend!! Poor Stella looks so worried that you're going to forget to pack her!! She's too cute!
