Top Three... My favorite from the night was Nina Dobrev - her dress was elegant, gold is always a color that catches my eye and she had a great all around look. Clare Danes stole the show - What I love the most is that the dress was classic for outside on the carpet then fitting of the theme inside (when it lit up!!!). Like I mentioned, always a fan of classics so I loved Ivanka Trump's look as well.
In addition to loving Ivanka's general style, I'm also a big fan of Blake Lively and Kate Hudson always so it was no surprise that I went for their looks as well.
Also on my list? Bella Hadid, Sienna Miller, Cindy Crawford and Emma Watson.

I love any excuse to dress up (and really dress up) and after Monday I'm really craving the chance. Good thing we have some weddings coming up so I can get my fix. The dresses below were inspired by the dresses above with a similar, yet less glamorous/over the top vibe (in the same order).
I couldn't believe how amazing Ivanka Trump looked less than a month after giving birth...well actually I can! I loved Blake and Clare - they looked amazing! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteI love all your favorite, too! I didn't see Nina Debrov - her is gorgeous, but I have to say I LOVED Claire Danes. To me that is a pure Cinderella dress...just gorgeous!
ReplyDeletei agree with all of these! i really loved kate hudson - it was classic but edgy. and and i mean cindy crawford - how can you beat it?! she's amazing!

Claire Danes stole the show. She had a major fashion moment. Zac Posen rocked that carpet with his design. I also really loved Blake (as usual) and Ivanka Trump rocked that red. Red always looks wonderful with blonde hair so that was a great choice on her part.
ReplyDeleteCould Blake be anymore stunning? Perfect!
ReplyDeleteHeart eye emojis all around. Great choices! But I think my favorite is the gold on Nina Dobrev. So gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteOk, I am actually dying over Nina Dobrev's dress right now. LOVE! And could Claire Danes look any more like a Disney princess?! Gorgeous! <3, Pamela Sequins & Sea Breezes
ReplyDeleteI didn't watch too much of the Met Gala, but Nina and Claire Danes both look gorgeous! I love a classic look too!
ReplyDeleteThese are all so cute, I am pinning a few to remind me when it is time to get my dress next year for the Mardi Gras ball I always attend.
ReplyDeleteThey had some very interesting dresses out there but I love the ones you picked and you inspiration dresses are great :)
ReplyDeleteHi, I love your blog! You are so cute! Where did you get that yellow dress you wore on vacation?
ReplyDeleteThanks! Melissa
Clare Danes totally hit the nail on the head! That dress was incredible!!
ReplyDeleteYour three favorites are mine as well! I love Nina Dobrev and thought she looked fantastic! Ivanka looked amazing as usual (how does she do that right after having a baby?!). Did you see that they had to take the back off her chair so she could sit down and not mess up the dress?! So crazy!

So many stunning dresses! Blake Lively is always one of my favorites!
ReplyDeleteBella Hadid and Sienna Miller's looks were to die for. Loved Sienna's dress when it lit up. Ivanka looks great for just having a baby not too long ago.
ReplyDeleteClaire Danes shut it down with that dress! It was such a Cinderella moment, and it went over the top when it lit up. Nina Dobrev and Emma Watson also were gorgeous. I also was a fan of Zoe Saldana's (Zaldana?) dress - I thought the train was gorgeous with the different colors, it kind of reminded me of a peacock in a good way.
ReplyDeleteAll of these ladies looked wonderful! I also did a Met Gala post this week. I loved Emma Roberts and Emily Blunt (to name a few). I like how you picked dresses that were inspired by the designer gowns (I may need to steal that idea)!
