Martha's Vineyard: Part Three

Our last day in Martha's Vineyard was a relaxing one - we had no plans other than to enjoy the beach and pool.  After sleeping in we grabbed breakfast and let Tatum play with the games on the main lawn and look at the turtles in the turtle pond.

We grabbed our stuff and walked over to South Beach.  I love the beaches here because some are tiny with no waves and some have bigger waves like this one.  Tatum loved dipping his toes in at the edge, Derek went swimming in the water and we all played with Tatum's beach toys.

We went up to the pool for Tatum to have a late picnic lunch and spend a few hours swimming, luckily we grabbed the final two chairs for a nice afternoon of lots of sun.  The hotel has a great kids pool of about 1.5 feet of water attached to the main pool.

We did the water taxi to dinner again and enjoyed it just as much as the night before.  We ate outside at the Wharf Pub - the chowder fries are such a treat - and finished the night off with ice cream from the Ice Cream & Candy Bazzar.  Tatum's campfire s'mores was definitely the biggest hit.
