Tatum had a wonderful school year this year. Unlike his first year of preschool he was in school the whole year for three days a week and the second half of the year with no masks! His favorite part was without a doubt time on the playground but we've seen such growth in his learning this year and he's really become confident in himself!
We got to go on his last day for a nice picnic outside, playing on the playground and then that night we grilled burgers and ate outside to celebrate the start of summer. He's been back at school in camp this week and now summer can really begin!

Thing is wow, the final school day is always a mixture of excitement and nostalgia. It is incredible how we develop within a year; both as individuals and as artists. It occurred to me, as students demonstrated projects prepared, what effort is dedicated to the creation of a graphic design dissertation how much effort was spent to transform ideas into something visually strong. Such moments actually make me remember why creativity is important in education.
