Montecito, CA: Part Two

To continue on the recap of our trip to Montecito, for our second night we decided to adventure outside the resort.  We drove about ten minutes into the heart of Santa Barbara to Stearn's Wharf - we walked around for a bit to check out the different places there, had a glass of wine at Deep Sea Wine Tasting then ate dinner outside at Long Board's Beach Bar.  We grabbed a drink at the beach bar when we got back and enjoyed the setting listening to the ocean.

The next morning we went out to explore a little bit more of Santa Barbara, the coast line, have the best Mexican lunch at Casa Blanca and drive through the quaint town of Montecito.

Tatum was asleep when we got back so we let him take his nap in the room and read/relaxed on the balcony which was the perfect way to spent part of the day.

We split the rest of the day between the beach and the pool.  By this point in the day the beach was pretty crowded and the sand was hot so we played for a bit before heading up to the pool.  On the opposite side of the beach, there were only a few other families at the pool so lots of space for swimming!

We finished out our last night with dinner back at Caruso's by the beach.  We went up to the fireplaces afterwards for a little bit and then called it an early night putting Tatum to bed and playing cards on our balcony.

For our final morning we finished up enjoying the views and playing the games that they had to offer. We then drove back down to the LA area to get into town for a little bit before our flight home, making a couple little stops to favorite places along our way.

We stopped in West Lake Village at The Stonehaus at the West Lake Village Inn for a charcuterie board and a cocktail - it's one of my favorite spots and we aren't always in the area to visit during our trips.  Next up was lunch at our favorite little deli, the Beverly Glen Deli.
