Looks & Life Lately {21}

This small flower bunch was too pretty to pass up.  I might try to grab one occasionally at the store to gather the small containers then try to make my own.

Al fresco dining at my favorite spot on a cooler than usual summer night is always a highlight.  My parents were in the area and ended up coming to meet Derek and I so we enjoyed a lengthily cocktail/appetizer hour until they arrived. (my top | mom's top)

'Tis the season for bright dressing rooms..  Shopping outings with my mom are a favorite especially when they include a favorite lunch and stop Lilly. ( top | romper dress)

We've been trying to get in a round of tennis each week - so far, so good and we are enjoying it - we usually try to tie it in with a gym date and stop at the tennis courts on our way. (sneakers)

These two are the best gardeners - it took a few days (see yesterday's post for the before & after) but we've gotten our landscaping under control.

Wouldn't it be nice if it was deck season all year long??? (wine glass | tumbler)

We aren't the only ones enjoying dining al fresco... it's been a family affair.

We finally made it out to our first Phillies game that we didn't need jackets for - it was a perfect baseball night and we enjoyed some drinks on the upper deck before heading down to our seats.  (top & 40% off | shorts & on sale)

  1. Did you end up getting the blue Lilly dress? I almost tried that on Saturday night when I was at the Lilly store, but I picked a white dress instead! I love that y'all play tennis together!

  9. I love all of the outdoor things that y'all are doing this summer. Tennis, outdoor dining, baseball games... sign me up for all of the above! :) Just not in Columbia. It's entirely too hot here now to spend any time outdoors until the sunsets!

  14. These are always my favorite posts from you! You guys are always up to so much fun, and do things that we love to do. Love it! And yay for deck eating. Here it's way too hot for that, we usually get to eat al fresco in the Fall or Winter - funny how it changes depending where you live :)

  15. Those flowers are gorgeous! I love that you guys play tennis together once a week. Tim and I used to play softball together, but I have since retired, haha. Tennis is one sport I've never tried but it seems like fun and a hell of a workout! We've been having great weather for baseball games. It's been a while since I've gotten to a Phillies game, but Tim goes every so often. We're actually headed down to Baltimore in a few weeks and we're checking out an Orioles game while we're there!
