Yesterday we had our biggest snow day of the season despite that our closets are ready for spring, we've had many spring like days and we're taking off for some warmer weather soon. We loved that it was "Winter Storm Stella" just like our little pup. Does anyone else love watching all the weather reports for big storms like this???
As badly as I want the warm weather, I can't say that I hated the lazy day at home - we were both home with little to do - made grilled cheeses, hot chocolate and then some delicious soup for dinner.
While it was fun, I'm hoping this is it for the year... bring on the warm weather! The laziness from yesterday is continuing into today, so just a couple quick pictures...
Keeping warm in pajamas and one of Derek's hats.
Have a good day! Stay warm! xx
I am always glued to the screen during storm coverage - it's my favorite. Enjoy your second storm day!
ReplyDeleteYay for a lazy, snowy day! Hope that warm weather is coming your way soon - I know y'all are so ready for spring!

Your snow day looks so fun!! We even got a cold snap down here in Florida- but I'm ready for Spring :)
ReplyDeleteI totally didn't realize that the storm was named after your pup! I'm glad that y'all had a fun and lazy snow day, but hopefully it warms up soon!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fabulous and relaxing day. How cute that it was named after Stella <3

I'm so jealous of your snow! We never got any... only temps in the 20s instead. Next week it'll be 80 again, though! Come on, spring!
ReplyDeleteThe snow missed us down here, phew! Glad you were able to enjoy it, now BRING THE SPRING!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so beautiful and cold! The plus is you get to stay inside and cuddle most of the day!
ReplyDeleteYay for Snow Days! But really it is march and it is freezing cold out? What?? It was warmer in February. So crazy.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Walker has only ever seen ice, so he's going to die the first time he sees actual snow! ;) Glad y'all enjoyed your low-key day at home!
ReplyDeleteI'm so over winter-but if you're gonna get snow at this point in the year, might as well have a fun day and go all out. Now hopefully it melts as quickly as it came ;-)
ReplyDeleteLook at that beautiful winter wonderland in your neighborhood white like Stella. I hear ya though, as much as it is pretty and you got a relaxing snow day out of it...Spring needs to show her face asap, especially for you Northerners. The seasons just seem to be shifting year by year.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't have very many snow days this year, and I was bummed. I always love a couple of good ones for lazy days at home with my pups, too! xx, I'm Fixin' To
ReplyDeleteI am SO ready for warm weather! But you can never say no to snow days :)
