Back in late September we did our annual summer trip out to California for about 10 days - With Covid cancellations, it was so nice to finally be back. We started our trip off in Newport Beach at Pelican Hill for a few nights. The weather was fantastic - upper 70's and sunny. We stopped in Huntington Beach for lunch on our way to the hotel and then it was right off to the pool and room service for dinner since we were all tired.
Our first full day we had a boat cruise, went to the Balboa Bay Club for lunch then spent the rest of the day at the pool and had dinner at Mastro's Ocean Club.
Next up was Disneyland and dinner with friends then a visit to their house but more on that tomorrow...
