Makeup Routine Part Two {Bronzers, Brushes and Blushes}

Today I'm continuing on sharing the second part of my (very few but true) make up favorites.  If you missed part one last week with storage, lipsticks, eye products and shadows, you can find that here.

Bronzers:
Like I said last week on the weekdays bronzer is one of the only things I wear.  I usually use a variety of a few but my favorites right now are a Sephora brand (#40, I can't find it online but it's a recent try and a little messy but I like it), Estee Lauder Bronze Goodess (in medium) - which I only got a bit back to be eligible for the free Lilly Pulitzer gift but ended up loving, and Physician's Formula bronze booster (in medium/dark).  I've also frequently throw Two Faced into the mix on occasion too.

Brushes:
The Bobbi Brown bronzer brush was a little bit of a splurge but it's so soft and perfect for bronzers.  For liquid foundations I really enjoy this Sephora brush.  For blush my favorite is a Sephora blush brush - it was recommended to me and I can't complain.

For the eyes my top three favorite brushes (other than the one in the Naked palette which I frequently use too) all come from Sephora - #13, #18 and #30.

Blushes:
Like I mentioned last week and loving mostly only YSL for lips, I am usually using Nars for my cheeks.  I've found so many I like I just don't really look further.  My overall favorites are Gaiety and Mata Hari.  Also in the rotation of favorites are Deep Throat and Luster.  When we travel I usually pack no less than four because I'm always changing them up.

Face Care:
One of my goals for this new year was to take better care of my face.  I used to just use a Neutrogena face wipe - the blue pack - and call it a day (I swear by these and out of all the face wipes I feel they get the products off the best).  Other than my newest obsession of the Clarasonic Mia (I don't use every night but a few a week) all my other products are Clinique. I use the moisturizer daily and occasionally the face wash and lotion.  I'm a Clinique girl all the way, probably because my mom uses all the products and I learned from her.  My favorite item is probably the eye makeup remover - I hate having mascara left on my eyes and this completely does the trick.

I hope this answers all the questions that I've been getting.  I'll go back to leaving the product sharing to the experts for now although it might be fun slowly to try out some new things.  Maybe…

  2. Love your make up picks! My favorite blush is Nars Orgasm...which is what half of America uses haha! I love that it goes with any shade of skin. And for my eyes and blush, I've used the same Mary Kay brushes for 10 years! Those things were made so well that they still look new! And the rest of my brushes come from Sephora!

  4. Love, love my Clarisonic Mia! My skin is horrible right now since I'm pregnant (oh the joys...) and I've been using it twice a day on my face, neck and chest -- and I'm really able to tell a difference! And I can also tell when I DON'T use it. Yikes!

  5. My clarisonic is a must in my makeup routine. Works so much better than the fake versions and totally worth the price. My favorite blush comes from Tarte, it's the perfect shade and I love the pretty compact.

  11. Too Faced bronzers are the best! I have the Chocolate Soleil one and it literally smells like chocolate, so good! I've heard great things about NARS Gaiety, too - that might be my next blush purchase!

  12. I love bronzer too! I always buy cheap drug store ones and they seem to do the trick just fine!

  13. I love Nars Mata Hari, the perfect pink. I like too faced bronzers, but only in the summer, it's sometimes too much when I'm super pale.

  14. I love my Clarisonic! I think I'm finally going to have to try a Nars blush. I used to use and swear by a Too Faced one but they no longer make it. :(

  19. Man, I never realized how many people used a Clarisonic until today! I've always been curious about them but I don't know anyone personally who has one. I may just have to add this to my birthday wishlist.

  21. Yes, yes, yes to the Too Faced Bronzer! The only downside is that it makes me hungry in the mornings sometimes because it smells like chocolate!

  22. I was wondering what blush you use cause your cheeks always have a hint of pink. I've only been using a bronzer but the Nars blush looks so pretty!

  23. I haven't used a NARS blush in a long time, both those colors are gorgeous!! Thank you for sharing and I hope that you are having a great day!! :-)

  24. i really need to take better care of my face as well. sometimes i use cetaphil or those blue pack wipes you mentioned. i really need to start doing something more as i am noticing.. well, some issues haha that might have been avoided if i'd been taking better care of my skin!

  25. Hey, there's nothing wrong with keeping your stash small if you know what you like! I love the Physician's Formula bronze booster, but I do live and swear by the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil for bronzing - it's matte, so you don't have to worry about any shimmer!

  26. I am a tried and true Bobbi Brown fan and after using those brushes, I won't be able to use any others! They are so soft and last forever!!

  27. My mom uses Clinique - definitely the reason I am a Clinique girl, too. I have to check out those blushes...I have been on the search for a new color.

  28. I love NARS blush. I just realized this week that mine is missing... but I love the pigment and color it offers.
