Kiawah: Part Two

Our third day was filled with sun and fun.  Like the days before we played on the lawn then did beach, lunch and pool...

We were back at the Ryder Cup that night for more playing on the green and a nice table on the patio for a great sunset.

The next day we did a nice brunch, went swimming, spent a bit of time at Freshfields for shopping and a late lunch and then headed to the airport... until next time!

Kiawah

We had a great visit down to one of our favorite places at the end of April, Kiawah.  We stopped at Charleston on our way to see friends for a night - rooftops, dinner, shopping and a carriage ride - we enjoyed our time there.

We met up with my family around lunchtime on Tuesday in Kiawah for some lunch and shopping at Freshfields then off to the Sanctuary.

Our first day the weather was gorgeous and after some strolling around we were right off to the beach and then the pool.  We went to Cherrywood BBQ that night for dinner and alligator watching.

The next day it was more of the same - Teddy was up quite early so he and I did a long walk around the island, we all played on the lawn then lots of beach and pool time.

That night we were finally off to our favorite spot on the island - The Ryder Cup Bar - we'd planned to go the first night but it was drizzling so we postponed.

Last Day of School

Tatum had a wonderful school year this year.  Unlike his first year of preschool he was in school the whole year for three days a week and the second half of the year with no masks!  His favorite part was without a doubt time on the playground but we've seen such growth in his learning this year and he's really become confident in himself!

We got to go on his last day for a nice picnic outside, playing on the playground and then that night we grilled burgers and ate outside to celebrate the start of summer.  He's been back at school in camp this week and now summer can really begin!

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a great Memorial Day weekend - Friday was super quiet which after a busy spring we needed!  Saturday we made homemade popsicles and had family over for a barbecue and playing!

We spent the rest of the long weekend down at the shore.  The weather was great and we did a lot of swimming, beach time and meals out with friends!
