May was very much about wedding events - a bachelor party weekend for Derek resulting in a girls weekend for me, a bridal shower and a wedding weekend and a great reunion with friends at events. We celebrated Mother's Day, Memorial Day with family, Memorial Day weekend with a getaway to Hershey with friends and made it out to our first Phillies game of the year. The weather took a while to warm up but by month's end we were fully into summer like temperatures.

Looking Ahead to June...
We welcomed this month with open arms after a busy May - we've got a few low-key weekends planned at home to relax, catch up and get some things done. We're hoping to fix up our landscaping and finish off our lower deck area as well enjoy time outside on the deck, balcony and lower patio.
As far as getaways, we are looking forward to a huge family weekend at the lake and our annual trip to California later this month - can't wait to get back to one of our favorite areas.
It's back to our annual summer family dinners with Dining Under the Stars, we'd love to squeeze a brunch in, enjoy some more Phillies games and do a little car searching.
Cheers to June!
What a fun May :) Yay for dining under the stars!
ReplyDeleteCalifornia and car searching is so exciting!! We are thinking of getting a new car soon as well. I am thinking something in the SUV category. There are so many options, it's overwhelming!

After having such a busy May, it's definitely going to be nice to have a easier slower June. Bet you're going to get a lot of deck time.
