January Review

For a long month, in the dead of winter, in the midst of the post holiday sadness, January FLEW by!  January was also a fun month of low-key activities!

One of my favorite shows (and Monday night rituals) The Bachelor came back on.  Derek has started watching it with me and once 8pm on Monday night hits, we hit the couch and don't move for two hours.

We had a great/relaxing/freezing (single digit temperatures) at Penn State
A great mexican night at El Gran
 Lots of weekend days that looked like this.  Catching up on life and days spent at home.
 We babysat Nash one day
 We had a lot of good weekly date nights including this dessert night too.
 We celebrated Grandmom's 90th birthday
 More and more date nights including this one to Ruth's Chris
 We enjoyed our new bar 
 The bad weather set in including our first snow in our new house, some "dustings" and the blizzard that wasn't
 Derek's family came down to visit us.
 We had a fun "Dining with Dot" aka family dinner at The Towne House 
 We made a trip out to Gap, PA to meet our future dog
 And added her to our family the next week
 We saw the Penn State game at the Wells Fargo Center
